aiffhead has been crafting this sound since the early 1980’s. Using whatever technology comes to hand and utilising a resolutely lo-fi approach to all things ‘musiq’, aiffhead draws on punk and industrial roots melding these with homegrown beats and a healthy appreciation of noize.

aiffhead is most known in China where he worked with Shanghainese rap star Masta Loop while living in Shanghai (2001 - 2003) creating the track “Hi-Rize” http://www.aiffhead.net/hi-rize.mp3 which was at one point in 2002 the most downloaded Chinese hip hop track on the internet.
